Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite has been a huge success and is finally ending on March 15. Some of the most popular bounty hunters from movies and video game franchises like the Mandalorian, Predator, and Ripley have arrived on the island in the past few weeks.

Naturally, the community now awaits a grand event to end Season 5, and an even better follow-up season. As per several fan theories, the upcoming season will revolve around DC Comics. On the flip side, some claim only Batman will play an important role in the storyline, and other characters from DC Comics won’t impact the new weapons and POIs in the season.

Amidst all the rumors, Epic Games recently released some teaser trailers for Chapter 2 Season 6. The developers leave no opportunity to include Easter eggs and hidden meaning in such teasers for events and seasons. As usual, Twitch streamer SypherPK is one of the first creators to review them.

In a recent video, SypherPK discovered these secrets and revealed a ton of additional information on Chapter 2 Season 6:

Dire Wolves coming to Fortnite

The background images in the trailers majorly tease a Wolf, skins, and some new weapons. In addition to that, Agent Jonesy is complaining about the disruption of reality in Fortnite.

Speculations about Direwolves in Fortnite had been floating around since Chapter 2 Season 5. Even though this pre-historic species isn’t a part of the game currently, the teasers for Season 6 tell a different story.

As per SypherPK, the seasons in Epic Games’ battle royale tend to repeat certain incidents. For instance, Chapter 1 Season 4 was based around Superheroes. Similarly, Chapter 2 Season 4 was a huge collaboration with Marvel, which showcased a plethora of superheroes like Thor, Wolverine, and Iron Man.

Back in Chapter 1 Season 6, the 100th tier of the Battle Pass offered a Dire Wolf skin. Hence, SypherPK is sure that the Chapter 2 Season 6 will have Dire Wolf NPC’s running around the island.

New Exotic weapons in Chapter 2 Season 6

The gun in the teaser trailers seems to be the Black Drum Shotgun from Fortnite: Save the World. It has 10 shots, and fires in two-rounds bursts. The Black Drum is undoubtedly a strong weapon, and SypherPK believes it will most probably be a Mythic or an Exotic weapon.

Another mythic weapon coming to the battle royale mode from Save the World is the Black Drum Bow. Having said that, there’s no information on whether this weapon will deal damage, or grant extra mobility to the players.

To everyone’s astonishment, Neymar Jr. has also reacted to the aforementioned teaser trailers. Many are assuming that the Brazilian soccer star will become a part of the Fortnite Icon Series in the near future.

All in all, Agent Jonesy seems frustrated with the ongoing events on the island. He might turn against his bosses in the Imagined Order, and help others like The Seven to escape the Fortnite loop in Chapter 2 Season 6.
