Who is Aleksandar Rakic?

Aleksandar Rakic is one of the best fighters in the UFC's light heavyweight division. The Serbian fighter has been professionally fighting since 2011. 'Rocket' Rakic plied his trade in various competitions across Europe before making his way to the States. As of 2024, he sits at #5 in UFC light heavyweight rankings. The Austrian fighter is a violent striker who has claimed a huge portion of his wins by knockout. His sole submission win came almost eight years ago. As he has a 90% takedown defense in the UFC, it is tough to get him away from a vertical base and deny him the chance to strike.
