Alex Caruso went unpicked when he appeared in the 2016 NBA Draft, but the Los Angeles Lakers signed him a year later. The explosive point guard has been with the team since and won the 2020 NBA championship in the bubble.
Caruso is a Texas native and he was born in College Station city. He attended A&M Consolidated High-School and garnered massive attention in his senior year. He averaged 18.0 points was named district MVP.

Caruso did not lose hopes after going undrafted in the league. He joined the Oklahoma City Thunder and who later waived him. The Lakers then came into the picture after they added Caruso to the G-League roster and signed a two-way contract.
This enabled Caruso to shine in the G-League as well as earn valuable minutes in the NBA. He averaged just over 15 minutes in his rookie year, but his G-Leauge heroics with the South Bay Lakers put him on the list as a talent to keep.
Caruso gradually evolved as a playmaker and impressed with his skills while starting for the Lakers. He enjoyed his breakthrough 2019/20 season by providing fans with thundering dunks and completing electric plays on the court.
