On-court achievements

Alex De Minaur was the runner-up of the Next-Gen ATP finals in 2018 before losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the finals. His best Grand Slam performance came at the 2020 US Open. Other than that, he reached the 3rd round at the 2019 Australian Open and 2018 Wimbledon Championships.

In 2018, Minaur reached two consecutive semifinals in Brisbane and Sydney. He became the youngest player to play in two consecutive ATP semifinals since Rafael Nadal in 2005.

Alex De Minaur was also part of the Australian Davis Cup team. He conquered his two ATP titles in Sydney and Atlanta in the 2019 season.

Then, his third title came in Zhuhai, before a fourth one at the Antalya Open. Three of his four titles came in the 2o19 season, where he reached another final at the Next-Gen ATP Finals, losing to Jannik Sinner.

In 2020, the Aussie youngster displayed his best Grand Slam performance, reaching the US Open quarter-finals. Before that, he also won the Western and Southern Open Masters doubles title with Pablo Carreno Busta.
