Alex De Minaur was the runner-up of the Next-Gen ATP finals in 2018 before losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the finals. His best grand slam performance came at the 2019 Australian Open, 2018 Wimbledon Championships and 2018 US Open, where he reached the 3rd round. In 2018, Minaur reached two consecutive semifinals in Brisbane and Sydney. He became the youngest player to play in two consecutive ATP semifinals since Rafael Nadal in 2005.

The American sports equipment company, Wilson sponsors Alex’s racquets and Asics, a company of Sportswear, sponsors De Minaur, his on-court apparels.
