Antonio Giovinazzi is another driver in the Ferrari Academy. After a few reserve stints with Sauber, he is now racing for them full-time. The Italian driver will have F1 veteran, Kimi Raikkonen, as his partner.
Giovinazzi will be the first Italian driver in Formula One since Jarno Trulli in 2011. Giovinazzi made his racing debut in 2012 for Formula Pilota China, winning it that year.

Giovinazzi finished his final season in 2nd, losing to Felix Rosenqvist.
In GP2, he bagged five wins and three podiums to finish runner up again. This time, he lost to Pierre Gasly, who would go on to race in F1 in 2017.
He made his competitive debut for Sauber at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, replacing the injured Pascal Wehrlein. He also replaced Wehrlein at the following Chinese Grand Prix as Wehrlein continued his recovery. Giovinazzi signed a contract to race full-time for Alfa Romeo Racing in 2019.
Giovinazzi ended the 2020 season in 17th place in the drivers’ championship. He scored four points, the same number as teammate Räikkönen, however, Räikkönen placed above Giovinazzi by virtue of having more ninth-placed finishes.
Giovinazzi out qualified Räikkönen at nine of the season’s 17 races.
