Chase Briscoe is an American racing driver. He contends full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Chase drives the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. He even owns a World of Outlaws group Chase Briscoe Racing. Chase won the 2016 ARCA Racing Series title.
Briscoe began racing in 2001. He contended in quarter midgets. After five years, he got back to racing, driving 410 sprint cars when he was only 13 years old. He recorded 17 top-ten completions and a victory at the last race.
In 2013, Briscoe competed in the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge. He completed it in the second position. Later in the year, he made his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West debut at NAPA Speedway. He finished in the eighth position. Chase Briscoe ran two additional races, completing in thirteenth and 27th position.
In 2017, Briscoe joined the Ford Performance NASCAR Driver Development Program. He raced for the Camping World Truck Series group Brad Keselowski Racing. Chase drove the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150 full-time. Briscoe completed third at Daytona in his Truck Series debut. Chase Briscoe was named the Truck Series’ Most Popular Driver in 2017.
In 2018, Briscoe ran as a part-time racer in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Soon thereafter, Briscoe won the debut Xfinity race on the Charlotte Roval race. He was able to hold off Justin Marks and Austin Cindric for the win. Briscoe raced as a full-time Xfinity driver for SHR’s No. 98 in 2019. He will be joining the SHR team for the Cup Series in 2021.
Briscoe’s father Kevin and grandfather Richard are also racers. Kevin being a previous Truck Series driver, while Richard was legendary a team owner. He is married to Marissa.
