Chase Briscoe is an American racing driver who contends full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing.
Chase Briscoe: Stats and Championships
Briscoe began racing in 2001, contending in quarter midgets. After five years, he got back to racing, driving 410 sprint cars as a 13-year-old. He recorded 17 top-ten completions and a victory at the last race.
In 2013, Briscoe competed in the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge and finished in the second position. Later in the year, he made his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West debut at NAPA Speedway. He finished in the eighth position. Chase Briscoe ran two additional races, completing in thirteenth and 27th position.
In 2017, Briscoe joined the Ford Performance NASCAR Driver Development Program. He raced for the Camping World Truck Series group Brad Keselowski Racing, driving the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150 full-time. Briscoe completed third at Daytona in his Truck Series debut and was named the Truck Series' Most Popular Driver in 2017.
In 2018, Briscoe ran as a part-time racer in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Soon thereafter, Briscoe won the debut Xfinity race on the Charlotte Roval race, holding off Justin Marks and Austin Cindric for the win. Briscoe raced as a full-time Xfinity driver for SHR's No. 98 in 2019. He has joined the SHR team for the Cup Series in 2021.
