His first fight with the promotion took place in Brazil itself. Figueiredo defeated Marco Beltr?n to win his debut. 'Daico' won his next three matches before losing to Jussier Formiga. He bounced back with a decisive victory over Alexandre Pantoja in his next fight. After that, he defeated Tim Elliott to secure a title shot.

Deiveson Figueiredo fought Joseph Benavidez for the vacant flyweight championship on February 29, 2020. Figueiredo won the bout, but couldn't claim the title as he had missed weight. Also, there was controversy surrounding an inadvertent headbutt.
Nevertheless, the duo fought again in July 2020. This time, Figueiredo put Benavidez to sleep via a rear-naked choke. He then went on to defeat Alex Perez and ended with a draw against Brandon Moreno. He holds a record of 9-1-1 in his UFC career.
