Diego Schwartzman has won three ATP titles in his career. At 5' 7" (170cm), Schwartzman became the shortest grand slam quarter-finalist in the 2017 US Open since Jaime Yzaga (5' 7") at US Open 1994. His best major results came at the French Open 2020, where he reached the semi-finals, and US Open 2017 and 2019, where he reached the quarterfinals.

The Argentine conquered an ATP 250 tournament in Istanbul in 2016. However, the ATP 500 title at the Rio Open in 2018 is by far the biggest title in Schwartzman's career.

He also is a runner-up in seven ATP 250 tournaments, including Belgium in 2016, Buenos Aires in 2017, and Vienna in 2019. Three of his seven finals appearances came in 2020, at Cordoba, Rome, and Cologne.
