Edson Barboza is one of the most dangerous fighters in the UFC. After dominating the lightweight division since his professional MMA debut, Barboza started fighting in the featherweight division. As of August 2021, he sits at the #9 position in the UFC featherweight rankings.

Barboza has fought several elite MMA athletes in his UFC career, such as Tony Ferguson, Anthony Pettis, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Gilbert Melendez, Justin Gaethje, and more. His last fight was against Shane Burgos at UFC 262, where he claimed a third-round KO victory. 

Now, Barboza will step inside the octagon against the #10 UFC featherweight contender, Giga Chikadze, at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Chikadze on August 28, 2021. He holds a UFC record of 16-9.
