Growing up as a Formula One fan, I was always vaguely aware that there was a sport called NASCAR. But when I actually got to know more about it, it didn't take me long to get hooked. My closest encounter with NASCAR was back in 2009 when my family took a picture of me next to one of Dale Earnhardt Jr?s cars. Since then, I?ve only grown to appreciate the sport a lot better. Aside from motorsports, I have always been fond of writing. So a marriage between the two made perfect sense before it led me to pursue a degree in literature and a PG Diploma in journalism. At EssentiallySports, I discovered my passion for researching. I can just lose myself in one of the infinite rabbit holes and accrue lots of knowledge about NASCAR. To date, I have written over 14,000 articles, but I?m not really a numbers person. What I consider my greatest achievement is getting some of my articles listed as sources on Wikipedia.
