England centre-back, Harry Maguire began his football career with Sheffield United in their youth team, having been born there. In spite of excellent performances, Sheffield were still relegated. After more decent performances, the likes of Hull City and Wolves approached.
Finally, in 2015, Harry Maguire signed for Hull City and debuted for them in the Europa League playoffs. However, that was just one of 6 appearances that year before going on loan to Wigan Athletic for a month. In 2016-17, he finally got promoted to first team regular and even captained the team on occasion.
After they were relegated, he joined Leicester City in 2017 for an initial £12 million fee, potentially rising to £17 million with add-ons. With the team, he performed exceptionally well, even earning interest from Manchester United. However, the then manager insisted that Maguire was going nowhere.
However, in 2019, Harry Maguire finally bagged that much-desired move to Old Trafford. Manchester United made a £80 million bid for Maguire, which Leicester accepted, after rejecting a £70 million bid.
Harry Maguire has helped Hull City to the Football League championship playoff. In addition to that, on the international front, he helped England to the UEFA Nations League third place in 2018-19.
