Jin Young Ko has been a member of the LPGA Tour since the 2018 season. The South Korean golfer won her opening tournament in February, i.e. the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open.

This victory was very special as this made her only the second player in LPGA history to win in her first tournament as a Tour member. Due to her incredible performance on the tour, she finished the year ranked No. 10 in the world.
