Kei Nishikori: Net Worth, Salary and Endorsements

Kei Nishikori is considered as one of Japan’s best-ever tennis stars. The 29-year old has reached a career-high of world number 4 in March 2015. The Japanese player is currently number 7 in the ATP ranking.

While he hasn’t won a Grand Slam yet, the closest he has got is in the 2014 US Open final. Sadly, he lost to Marin Cilic to settle for runner-up.

This year, he was the third contestant on the list of highest-paid tennis players. He is the ranked number 35 on the Forbes list of highest-paid athletes. His total earnings aggregate to $37.3 million, which includes his salary of $4.3 million and his endorsements pay him $33 million.

On-court Achievements

As mentioned before, he reached the final of the 2014 US Open. Other than that, he has gotten as far as the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon. In fact, he has reached a Grand Slam quarterfinals at least six times. He is the bronze medalist at Rio Olympics and it happens to be the biggest victories of his career.

With regard to his ATP record, he has claimed 12 ATP titles so far. Nishikori has also had several rivalries with the likes of Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Marin Cilic, and David Ferrer. Out of the four, Nishikori leads the head-to-head in three of them. He only trails Wawrinka by 1, out of the 9 times that they have met.
