Kemba Walker is a six-foot guard who plays for Boston Celtics in the NBA. Walker was born on May 8, 1990, in Bronx, New York, to Paul and Andrea Walker. He was the ninth overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Walker attended Rice High School, a private institution where he honed his basketball skills. He averaged 18.2 points and 5.3 assists as a senior, which earned him a spot in the 2008 McDonald’s All-American game.
The five-star recruit then committed to play for UConn, where he flourished with his natural talent. His game with the University of Connecticut saw an upward curve as he got better with each passing year.

Walker had a bitter-sweet debut season in Boston, which was partially plagued by injuries. However, the Celtics made it to the Eastern Conference Finals and Walker averaged 19.7 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.0 rebounds during the series defeat to Miami Heat.

Walker’s truly evolved as one of the NBA’s most clutch players. His shooting range is incredible but currently, in the 2020-21 season, Walker is averaging 14.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and five assists per game.
