Mark Few is one of the best coaches in NCAA basketball right now. He took over the Gonzaga Bulldogs in 1999. In the last few seasons, the Bulldogs have become one of the strongest teams under Coach Few's leadership.

Coach Few has been at the helm of the Gonzaga Bulldogs for over 21 years but has been unable to lead them to a title. They finished as runners-up in 2017, after losing to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the finals.

Despite the lack of an NCAA title, Few has made the Bulldogs a powerhouse in the WCC, and they have won 20 regular season titles and 16 WCC tournaments.

His record with the Bulldogs is 620-124, and his winning percentage of 83.3% is the best of all-time among NCAA basketball coaches.

Few was appointed as the head coach of the US National Team at the 2015 Pan American Games, where the team won the bronze medal. He was also brought in as an assistant for the National Team during a minicamp in 2019.

Coach Few joined the Gonzaga Bulldogs as a graduate assistant in 1989. A year later he was promoted to assistant. A decade after joining, Few was named as the head coach in 1999, following the departure of former coach Dan Monson.

The Bulldogs immediately became a successful team, but this success didn't beyond the WCC conference. They regularly won the Conference tournament and regular-season title, but were unable to go beyond the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA tournament.

Their first Elite Eight appearance under Few came in 2015, and when they reached this stage again in 2017, they went all the way to the Final but fell to the Tar Heels in a heart-breaking loss. That is the Bulldogs' best-ever finish at the NCAA tournament.

But the Bulldogs' barren run could end this season. After 21 games, they are unbeaten, and that's why Few's Bulldogs are the favorites to win the 2021 NCAA tournament.

Since 2002, Mark Few and his wife, Marcy, have organized Coaches vs. Cancer golf event every year. In 19 years, it has raised over $17 million for cancer research.

From 2007-12, with the help of Coach Few, Gonzaga played one game every season, helping to raise around $750,000 for Spokane’s Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Coach Few also has regularly participated in Coach Challenges to raise money for cancer patients.
