Spanish tennis player Roberto Bautista Agut kick-started his career in 2005 when he turned pro. However, his big break came in 2009 when he qualified for the ATP 500 Tournament in Valencia.

Two years later, he won in Auckland and Sofia, before winning in Chennai and at Winston-Salem in 2017. In 2018, though, he snatched victory in the Qatar Open, the Dubai Tennis Championships and for the second time, the Auckland Open. His best performance came at the Wimbledon Championships 2019, reaching the semifinals.
