Talen Horton-Tucker is a six-foot-four shooting guard who plays for Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. He was born on November 25, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois, and his parents are Shirley Horton and Marlin Tucker. Horton-Tucker was the 46th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Horton-Tucker grew up in Chicago and attended Neal F. Simeon Career Academy as a teenager. The youngster gained massive attention owing to his achievements with Simeon where he led the school to three straight city championships.
After completing his glittering high-school career, Horton-Tucker committed to Iowa State when he played for one season before joining the NBA. He gained starting privileges as a freshman and averaged 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists in his first season with the Cyclones.
