Swedish right back, Victor Lindelof kicked off his footballing career in his native Vasteras. At the age of 16, he debuted for Västerås SK in 2010. A year later, he moved to Portugal with SL Benfica with the youth team. While there, he guided them to the U-19 Portuguese championships.

Victor Lindelof finally broke into the first team in 2013, and since then, he was on and off. However, during the times he played for Benfica, he always came through, with some accolades being, the Taca de Portugal, the Tace da Liga and the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

In 2017, Victor Lindelof was signed by Manchester United for €35 million. He made his official debut for the club against Real Madrid in the 2017 UEFA Super Cup. However, his Premier League debut came only in October when they took on arch-rivals Liverpool. In January 2019, Lindelof scored his first goal for the Red Devils in a 2–2 league draw at home to Burnley.

On-pitch Achievements

Victor Lindelof guided Vasteras to the league championship in 2010. Meanwhile, during his Benfica days, he clinched three Primeira Liga championships, two Taca de Portugal trophies, a Taca da Liga and Supertaca Candido de Oliveira.

The right back was offered a £39 million contract in September at Manchester United. United initially bought him for £31 million from SL Benfica. As per latest report, Lindelof will double his current £75k a week wages to around £150,000 under the proposal. He is sponsored by the likes of Chevrolet and Adidas.

Foundations and Charity

Victor Lindelof is involved with Swedish charity, Musikhjalpen and one of its objectives is to improve the livelihood of children.
