Watch Dogs: Legion 2021- Release Date, Price, and System Requirements

Watch Dogs: Legion is the latest title in the Watch Dogs franchise. Developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft, it is a sequel to 2016's Watch Dogs 2 and the third overall entry in the Watch Dogs series.

The developer teased the title on Twitter, prior to its announcement at E3 2019 in June 2019. Ubisoft then premiered the game's reveal trailer as well as a full-on gameplay trailer in their press conference at the event.

Like the previous titles in the series, Legion is an action-adventure game played from the third-person perspective. The game is currently available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Ubisoft had initially scheduled the game for release on March 6, 2020, however; they delayed their plans for a launch in October 2019.

At the Ubisoft Forward event in July 2020, the company announced that the game would undergo a release on October 29, 2020, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.

After the launch of Xbox Series X/S and PS5 during November 2020, Legion also became available on the new-gen consoles as a launch title. During the same month, the game also saw its release on Amazon Luna. According to Metacritic, Watch Dogs: Legion was received with 'mixed or average' reviews upon release.

The game is available to purchase from Ubisoft's official website across all the aforementioned platforms. Additionally, users who purchase its version for PS4 or Xbox One can upgrade to the next-gen PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version for free.

The website also lists the various editions available for the game. Watch Dogs: Legion comes in four editions including Standard Edition, Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector’s Edition.

Amazon US lists Legion’s Standard Edition for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 for $59.99. Whereas the Gold Edition is listed for $99.99, and the Ultimate Edition for $119.99.
