Manchester United have a chance to close the gap to one point on their rivals Manchester City and are hoping to pick up a crucial win in their upcoming derby. After exiting from the Europa League after a disappointing defeat against Liverpool, The Red Devils are targeting to finish in the Top 4 in the League.

Here are a few quotes from the Louis van Gaal’s Press Conference:

“[Is the derby do or die?] I think so, yes. We are now four points behind. We have to win, otherwise the gap gets bigger and bigger. The matches that you have to play are not so big.”

“I never feel that I am under pressure; I do what I have to do. Do you feel like you are under pressure? People put this question to me every week and it is not so nice.”

“It is dependable also on which players are fit to play. When you play the Liverpool match, so close to City, you have to wait and see which players are available and then that will impact on my game plan because some players may make me alter my style. It is not so easy to be a manager.”

“We have to disorganize their defense. Kompany and Mangala won’t play and they will play Demechilles, so we’ll have to analyze defense.”
