Tom Brady Could Match an Unwanted Record in the Game Against Carolina Panthers

Tom Brady’s arrival in Florida signaled the start of a new era for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But after just one game in the NFL this season, the Bucs have been given a reality check by their fellow NFC South rivals.
Tom Brady and Co. suffered a 34-23 loss against the Drew Brees-led New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday. The seasoned veteran threw for 239 yards and completed 23 of his 36 passes against two interceptions.
But Brady made headlines for the wrong reasons after he threw a pick-six in the loss to the Saints on Sunday. This was the third consecutive pick-six after previously throwing one each in the Week 17 game last year and in the playoffs loss to Tennessee Titans.

As seen in the short clip above, Tom Brady could equal Schaub and Blaine’s record of making four consecutive pick-six throws in the NFL when the Bucs host the Carolina Panthers in Week Two.
Schaub, who currently is on the Atlanta Falcons’ payroll, etched his name in NFL record books when he threw a pick-six against the San Francisco 49ers.

Brady could very well match that feat if he misplaces another throw in the upcoming game against the Teddy Bridgewater-led Panthers at the Raymond Jones Stadium in Florida. Here’s how NFL veterans, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, fare in comparison with Brady for this stat.
My favorite Aaron Rodgers fact:
He has only thrown 2 pick-sixes his entire career.
Drew Brees has thrown 27. pic.twitter.com/6BqrbMVaqY

There’s no doubt that Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay outfit has loads of room for improvement. They face the Carolina Panthers at home in Week Two before going up against Denver Broncos a week later.
Coach Bruce Arians will be hopeful that his team will find their groove in that period. A playoff spot is still not off the cards for the Bucs.
