“Taught Me What a Washcloth Was”: Serena Williams’ Husband Jokes About Life After Marriage

One of the most popular couples in tennis is Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. Even during the pandemic break both of them were active on social media and entertained a lot of their fans. And now Serena’s husband Alexis joked about changes in his life after the marriage.

Alexis revealed a cheeky detail in his marriage. Replying to a question about hygiene, he revealed that it was Serena who introduced him to washcloths.

“I wasn’t this bad, but my wife definitely taught me what a washcloth was.” Alexis tweeted.

So there were further questions from Twitter users to his above reply.

“So question? Did every family member have their own bar of soap or did y’all scrub the same one against y’all bodies?”

To the above question, Alexis gave a candid and honest reply. He replied:  “LOL no siblings. Just me and that intrepid magical self-cleaning bar of soap.”

Another user tweeted, “Marrying Serena Williams has changed your life for the better,”

Alexis without any hesitation replied: “Obviously.”

Serena Williams married Alexis Ohanian in 2017 and has a daughter, Olympia Ohanian. Olympia and her mother turned into social media celebrities during the tennis shutdown after several of their videos went viral.

Recently the mother-daughter duo rocked a karaoke session as well. They were jamming on various songs with the 23-time Grand Slam champion guiding her daughter. Fans loved the casual and raw behavior from Olympia.

But the ultimate viral picture was Serena and Olympia twinning on the tennis court. Serena and Olympia were wearing matching outfits on the court thus making them the cutest doubles pairing ever. Many fans and players commented on the picture with comments on Olympia’s cuteness to hailing her as the next big thing in tennis.

Well, Olympia’s tennis career will take a few years to build but her mother is still very much competitive despite turning 39 this year. Serena, unfortunately, had to end her 2020 season due to injury but she has assured that she will continue to fight for the 24th Grand Slam title next year.
