Cristiano Ronaldo stunned football fans across the world earlier today by having an agreement in principle with his former club, Manchester United. While the details of the deal remain unconfirmed, fans of the Red Devils can rejoice as the Portuguese returns to the club after 12 years.
However, not all fans had the same stance prior to his return to the club. And British tennis star Andy Murray pointed this out with his latest tweet on Twitter.

Andy Murray calls out Manchester United fans for Cristiano Ronaldo criticism
Earlier this week, Ronaldo faced loads of comments from fans criticising his situation with Juventus. In a post on social media, the Portuguese fired back at such fans, mentioning he will honor his current contract with the Italian club.
However, he changed his stance on staying in Turin a few hours ago, deciding to leave the club. This send the media into a frenzy, with many speculating he could join Manchester City. Although talks were ongoing with Manchester City, United swooped in to seal one of the biggest stars in the game.
Earlier today, Murray took to Twitter to mention how United fans suddenly change colors. He tweeted, “All the man united fans that were absolutely abusing Ronaldo yesterday appear to have lost their voices today…. Funny old game.”

Piers Morgan joined in the banter, replying to Murray with a witty quote of his own. He wrote, “Wonder if you can unburn a shirt?” To which the 34-year-old replied, “Incredible stuff… United fans u turning more than Boris!”
