Why is Rafael Nadal not playing doubles?

Recently, Rafa has been playing quite a few arduous tennis matches in Brisbane and Sydney, and the Spaniard is exhausted. He feels it’s better to sit on the bench and cheer for his team. Due to fatigue, he pulled out from the deciding doubles tier.

“I have been playing a lot of tennis in the last couple of days. My level of energy is a little bit lower than usual because I played long yesterday, very long before yesterday, very long in Brisbane in the last day. This is a team decision and we believe in our team.” Rafael Nadal said.

Carreno Busta and Lopez are a good choice

World  Number one Nadal and Team Spain have full faith in Carreno Busta and Lopez, and the pair won’t let them down. “That’s why we had success in the past because we were able to give confidence to the rest of the players. We give a chance to Feliciano and Pablo. They are doing well and we are going to support them and hopefully, they have a good day,” Nadal added.
