Dominic Thiem and Daniil Medvedev Bond Over FIFA During Coronavirus Pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has completely refrained tennis players from the professional courts, and they seem to enjoy their untimely off-season on the tour. Dominic Thiem and Daniil Medvedev sit together every evening, by respecting the rules of social-distancing and spend time by playing FIFA.

Daniil Medvedev joins Dominic Thiem and Dennis Novak’s FIFA Club

Also, the Austrian tennis player Dennis Novak is part of their squad. Dennis mentioned that recently Medvedev joined their FIFA club. Apparently, Medvedev came across Dennis’ Instagram story (which was based on their team line-up) and later the Russian asked them whether he could join them or not.

After getting addicted to the game and playing it multiple times, they have made it to league 7. Every day, the tennis trio starts playing FIFA in the evening and their fun continuous until midnight.

World Number five Daniil Medvedev plays left wing, World Number three Dominic Thiem plays on the central midfield position and Dennis Novak plays defense. Also, Thiem and Alexander Zverev are in touch during their quarantine period all because of FIFA. Thiem invited Sascha to play in their Pro Clubs team.

A few days ago the Russian machine Medvedev engaged himself by playing the soccer game.

Meanwhile, their other colleague Stefanos Tsitsipas is occupied with his YouTube channel during the self-quarantine period. On Thursday, the Greek gun posted a 31-minute stream of consciousness vlog on his channel.

“This is what happens to you when you’re in quarantine for so long, you just lose your mind at some point. You just start talking to objects,” he said.
