Novak Djokovic Asks Rafael Nadal to Sing Him a Lullaby

Tennis’ colossal forces Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal share a congenial relationship off the professional courts. Recently, the Serbian and Spanish ATP aces were in conversation with El Transistor. Therein the funniest guy on the tennis tour Djokovic asked Nadal to sing in a lullaby.

Apparently, during the course of an interview, 32-year-old Djokovic was feeling a bit drowsy. He hilariously asked: “Rafa, can you sing a lullaby for me, please?” The Mallorcan maestro Nadal was amused by Novak’s comment and replied: “Now, now I sing to you.”

Off the professional track, the liege lords of men’s tennis Nadal and Djokovic are really good friends. They support each other whenever in need. Also, sometimes they book practice sessions together amidst ATP tournaments and help each other to improve their tennis.

Their mutual assistance is extended beyond the tennis courts.  Presently, Rafa’s Spain is one of the worst affected countries by the coronavirus pandemic. The nation is falling short of hospital beds. To help his country and countrymen, Nadal raised a $12 million campaign for Red Cross. Many Spanish athletes made their donations.

After coming across Rafa’s voice, Djokovic contributed a significant amount to Spain’s Red Cross. The Spaniard ace also thanked Novak for his timely and unconditional support.

Last year, Novak traveled all the way to Kazakhstan for an exhibition match against Rafa. The match was a fundraiser event for Nadal’s foundation, and the Serbian did not hesitate to travel to the eastern part of the world in the middle of the season. Also, for the Novak Djokovic Foundation, Nadal once played an exhibition match in Milan, Italy.

The two Goliaths are undoubtedly the best tennis professionals, and they use their world-famous personality effectively. They contribute towards the betterment of society and also work for the well being of the vulnerable groups.
