Swiss maestro Roger Federer once again showed why he is one of the best players in tennis. At 38, Federer reached another Grand Slam semi-finals beating America’s Tennys Sandgren.
After three sets, Federer was down after losing the second and the third sets 6-2, 6-2. The fourth set went down to a tie-breaker where it almost felt like the end of the road for Federer, whose body language looked down after losing two sets.
However, Federer managed an incredible turnaround, saving as many seven match points and dominating the final set 6-3.

Roger Federer escaping defeat….once again
It was not the first time in the tournament that Federer managed to escape from the hinges of defeat. He came back against John Millman in the third round winning in a tiebreaker in the final set. His match against Millman was equally thrilling.
Fans brought references to that match while reacting to his latest victory. One of the twitter users called Federer an “escape artist” after he managed to escape defeat once again.
