“Violence and Disrespect is Not The Answer!” – Amanda Anisimova Hits Back at Police Brutality

The country of the United States of America is submerged in protesting against the death of the 46-year-old black man George Floyd, who lost his life under police custody. He died after a policeman ruthlessly killed himself after suffocating him. For the cruel act by the police, the entire country now demands justice by their endless protests. 18-year-old tennis player Amanda Anisimova commanded for the police brutality to end, as the officers of the law are now being penalized.  

The American hopes for better days to come and aspires to live in peace. She believes his unfair disrespect the entire police community, due to the ill-deeds of a certain bunch of policemen.

“I’m sorry, but this isn’t the way to go, how is this going work? Police brutality needs to be put to an end, but we gotta work in smarter ways. I’m sure there are other options. I really hope this country will become a peaceful place for ALL at some point,” she posted.

“Not all police officers are bad, and I’ve seen so many disrespectful posts towards them. There should be way more thorough screenings done when employing officers. Police brutality, racism, and other things I’ve seen that have been linked to the police so often are 100% not acceptable.”

She’s completely tormented after coming across the commotion in every state of her nation. Anisimova believes he system needs to get better, and things need to be put in place.

“We need to fight for it but not in a cruel way. Violence and disrespect is not the answer! Had to get this off my chest,” she added. Earlier she also raised her voice and demanded justice for Floyd’s death.

In 2020, Amanda Anisimova reached the semifinals in Auckland and later retired from the pre-quarterfinals of Qatar. At the Australian Open, she lost in the very first round. The American also did not win any matches at the Dubai Open.

Recently, World Number 28 Anisimova was seen hitting balls at  MyUTR exhibition series in Florida, USA.
