

Amid these tennis-less days with no professionals game in action, one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket Sachin Tendulkar picked up a tennis racquet, He was seen playing some tennis and attempted to slam the ball with a forehand. In the act of doing so, he asked 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer some tips to play tennis.

During Wimbledon Championships 2018 the GOATs were engaged in a friendly exchanged on Twitter. Federer showed some batting skills on the grass-courts of SW19.
And after coming across Roger’s action Tendulkar gave a heartfelt reply and appreciated his hand-eye co-ordination. He was ready to give some coaching lessons to Federer and the Swiss maestro was eager to seek them.

Even before Roger won his first Major title, Sachin has been following the Swiss wizard of tennis. He also remembers Federer winning his first ATP title in Milan 2001. During his early days on the ATP Tour, Tendulkar prophesied Federer will be dominating the sport one day and will be responsible for the metamorphosis of tennis.

“I have been following Roger since 2001-2002,” Tendulkar reflected in 2019 while he was in conversation with Vijay Tagore.
“I remember the days when Yuvi (Yuvraj Singh) would back Andy Roddick and I would support Roger. Those were early days Yuvi would talk about the power game of Roddick and I would speak of Roger’s finesse, class, and incredible shots, I was convinced when I saw his abilities to create those angles.”
In 2019, during the Dubai Championships Roger Federer entered the century club of ATP titles and post his historic achievement Tendulkar congratulated him for the same.

The two legends met each other during Wimbledon 2011 at All England Club, and it was a memorable experience for both Federer and Tendulkar.
