At the 2021 Australian Open, fans witnessed an extraordinary encounter between Serena Williams and Aryna Sabalenka. Both players were competing fiercely and in the end, it was the American who came out on top.
This was the first-ever meeting between the 2 players and hence, recently, Aryna was asked about her expectations. She said,
“Well, you know, because everyone keep talking about Serena, Serena is coming back, like she is the queen and all this stuff. This is kind of I know in experience, you know, because I never play her and I didn’t know what to expect from her.”

Aryna Sabalenka was very close to beating Serena in their encounter in Melbourne. In fact, she had the upper hand after winning the second set but Serena rallied through and won 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. After this loss, the Belarusian is eager to get her revenge.
