It’s the second time amid the global lockdowns the 19-time Grand Slam Rafael Nadal was seen in the kitchen. Last time, Rafa had made some pasta of himself and his wife. And on Monday, he baked a cake.

It seemed that Rafa found it a bit taxing to bake a cake, as he mentioned, three hours of training in Monte Carlo, Monaco is easier than beating the eggs.

“I am overwhelmed with work at home. It would be easier to be in the Monte Carlo tournament (which played this week) training 3 hours of tennis. But for now, it is what he plays and with a good face! Then I put a photo of the result … And what was said, to cheer up !!” Nadal posted.

Nadal was addressing his fans in his native language, Spanish.

Following Nadal’s post, former World Number one Caroline Wozniacki gave tips to him on how to bake. She tried to make his job easier. “Maybe try and turn around the mixer?” She commented on Instagram.

The Spaniard ace is confined in his residence on Mallorca since the cancelation of the Indian Wells event. A few weeks ago, Rafa was seen rallying against his sister Maria Isabel Nadal on a marble surface on the trace of his home.

Recently, Rafa’s coach and uncle Toni Nadal, revealed for the moment, Nadal is not really thinking about professional tennis and practicing. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Nadal’s mind is pre-occupied with things like raise money and support his country and compatriots.

“With the huge problem we have, all this has been forgotten. It’s secondary. Coronavirus is what counts, not tennis. Rafa and I were talking and he told me he doesn’t give a damn about tennis right now. That’s logical if you have a little sensitivity,” Toni Nadal said.
