Emma Raducanu Reveals How F1 Legend Lewis Hamilton Helped Her After US Open Glory

British tennis player Emma Raducanu has been one of the most promising players recently. After winning the US Open, she has been living a fairytale.
She has been attending various events outside the tennis court, post her Grand Slam title.
During one of those events, Emma Raducanu came across the 7-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. She remembered the encouraging words shared by the experienced driver.

Emma spoke on her meeting with Hamilton and stated, “No definitely not. I am rooting for Lewis in the race. He’s been such a good role model for me in terms of helping me out and through these next stages. He’s a really cool person. He’s just been really cool in helping me.”
Emma Raducanu became an instant fan of the superstar racer
She remembered interacting with him at the Met Gala, which took place soon after the US Open. After their conversation, the teenager began looking up to him.
She started following Hamilton keenly as there is so much that a young athlete can learn from a massively successful sportsperson.

The 19-year-old added, “He said, like, be patient. You know, you just got to ride the wave, it’s all good, like, don’t worry. Good reassurance. I met him in person at the Met Gala and we had a really good conversation there and, and since then, I’ve just been looking up to him, following him and supporting him.”
After winning the US Open, things have not gone as per her wishes. She crashed out of the opening round at the Indian Wells. Prior to that, she fired her coach and appointed a new one.
