The two talented women on the WTA Tour, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka share a congenial relation with each other. Last week, during the Rally for Relief exhibition event Osaka was sitting beside Williams and that moment was captured. Later the Japanese gave that picture a funny caption and posted, “Me and my mom lol.”

On being asked about the hilarious gesture from Osaka, Williams appreciated her social media post, and the respect which Naomi has for her. Serena joyfully conveyed that Naomi can be her daughter Olympia’s elder sister.

“I thought the picture was cute, so I felt like I should like it and comment on it. Definitely not the mom, though. Definitely more or less cousin? I don’t know how Olympia would feel about that. (Laughter.) She would love to have her as a sister, though. That would be really cool. She could be Olympia’s sister,” said Serena Williams.

For Osaka, she wouldn’t have been a tennis player if Serena did not build the series of Grand Slams and other records. Serena’s actions on the court motivate and inspire Naomi to push herself to the next level and hit the ball even harder.
