WTA Berlin 2021 has returned to the women’s tennis tour after 11 years. Moreover, it is ready to host a blockbuster encounter between home favorite Angelique Kerber and two-time Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka.

The pair will meet in the Round of 16 matches at the tune-up event for Wimbledon. Notably, in their ten prior meetings, they have met only once on grass before in the 2012 London Olympics.

Azarenka has a 9-1 head-to-head lead against Kerber that includes the Olympics. Despite the one-sided past results, the match will inarguably produce some high-quality tennis.
