The pair will meet in the Round of 16 matches at the tune-up event for Wimbledon. Notably, in their ten prior meetings, they have met only once on grass before in the 2012 London Olympics.

Azarenka has a 9-1 head-to-head lead against Kerber that includes the Olympics. Despite the one-sided past results, the match will inarguably produce some high-quality tennis.

Victoria Azarenka vs. Angelique Kerber: Prediction

Given the on and off performances from both players in 2021, this match might go the distance. However, Azarenka’s extensive skill set would still be burdensome for Kerber to overcome.

But if Kerber manages to find hold of first serves and stay in the rallies, she might force the Belarusian to make errors. However, she might find it difficult to respond to Azarenka’s blistering groundstrokes.
