Japanese star tennis star Naomi Osaka is currently in Adelaide preparing for the 2021 Australian Open. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, she was forced to quarantine for two weeks. Like any other player, she was not enjoying this, which is why the organizers decided to have an entertaining Q&A session with her.
In the Q&A, which was done by Alexa, the World No. 3 revealed her favorite movie – Spirited Away. This is a Japanese animated film that was released back in 2001. It was so good that it won an Academy Award the very next year. So it should come as no surprise that this is Osaka’s favorite movie.

Naomi Osaka Australian Open 2021
During her quarantine, Osaka would have watched many movies like Spirited Away. However, her main focus would have been on training as she is vying for her 2nd Australian Open and 4th Grand Slam title.

The Japanese star had an incredible 2020 season which saw her win her 2nd US Open title. It was a very important win for her, as it was her first big title in nearly 12 months. Now, she will want to translate this success into more victories in 2021.
At the Australian Open, Osaka will have the opportunity to jump up in the rankings. If she wins it, she will become the new World No. 2 and she would be inches away from regaining the top spot.

A lot lies in store for Naomi in Melbourne, but it’s not going to be easy for her to get her hands on the title. There are many players capable of challenging her for the title. She will have to be ready to face them when the event begins on February 8. Do you think that Osaka will triumph?
