Serena Williams Reveals Her Motivation Behind ‘Unstoppable’ Jewelry Collection

Tennis’ greatest player of all times Serena Williams has been involved in various entrepreneurial activities, and one of them being ‘Serena Williams Jewelry (SWJ).’ Jewelry making is unchartered territory for Serena was but she has always had a passion for accessories.

She recently talked about her close association with accessories. She also wears it while playing some professional tennis.

“My background is fashion design. This is a whole new category for me. But I’ve always had a love for jewelry if you look at everything I’ve done. I’ve even played tennis in crazy [jewelry] pieces at times,” Serena Williams told PEOPLE.

She also shared her thoughts about her lucky charm necklace that she was wearing while she pulled off all four Grand Slam consecutively from US Open 2014 to Wimbledon 2015.

“I wore a circular necklace the last time I won all four Grand Slams in a row. I had won four in a row wearing that necklace. I was just really unstoppable,” she added.
“There was nothing that could stop me from winning those four Grand Slams. At one point, I remember having the flu so bad that I literally was crying, but I still had this unstoppable attitude.”

On the WTA circuit, Serena Williams has committed to play the US Open 2020. But, unfortunately, the tournament will be taking place behind the closed doors. Hence, her fans won’t be present in the stadium while she’ll be chasing her Grand Slam number 24.
