In the last set, Coco saw Marketa using her racquet to catch the ball. As per the rules, this would be a fault but it wasn’t called. Later, the young American lost 2 consecutive points which led to a huge roar from Vondrousova.
Gauff wasn’t happy about this and in a later point, she aimed a backhand straight to the Czech’s body heating up things even more. Clearly, this was not the encounter that fans would have wanted.

Coco Gauff Seeking First Big Title
So far in her career, Coco Gauff has only one one WTA title. She is seeking another one in Dubai and if she does win it, it would be her first WTA 1000 title.
The American surely wants to achieve this but she has a tough road ahead. In the Round of 16, she is facing off against Tereza Martincova who beat Karolina Pliskova and Kiki Bertens.
