Bouchard probably has a lot more fans like the one she met in Istanbul, and they all are eager to see her play again. The Canadian had a great 2020 which saw her play some amazing tennis. For the first time in a long time, she made it to the third round of the French Open and she also improved her ranking from 262 to 140.
While this is certainly incredible, it is far from where Bouchard wants to be. At her best, she was ranked as the World No. 5 and she definitely wants to get back there. Her best opportunity to do so will be at the 2021 Australian Open.
