The fatal virus’ widespread led to a pandemic, more than half a million people lost their lives to the virus, economies are weakened, and all major sporting events were canceled. Amidst these unprecedented times of virus infections, Nike released a social campaign You Can’t Stop Us, that featured Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Rafael Nadal, Naomi Osaka, and Denis Shapovalov alongside other elite athletes of the world.

The American sports brand Nike’s motivating video was propagating a message of unification to the world, as no forces could beat the strength togetherness. “Nothing can stop what we can do together. You can’t stop sport. Because #YouCantStopUs,” they posted on Instagram.

Also, Lebron James and Megan Rapinoe were juxtaposing in the video and stated: “We have a responsibility to make this world a better place.”

The hashtag: #YouCantStopUs by Nike has been trending in the tennis world. Serena Williams posted on her Instagram: “Nothing’s more special than when sisters come together. You can’t stop sport. Because you can’t stop us. #YouCantStopUs.”

Also, Simona Halep, Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Elina Svitolina used Nike’s phrase and on their Instagrams.

In the decades to come the year, 2020 will be remembered as the time when the entire world drifted away from their regular activities and stayed in their homes.

When the pandemic was at its peak, Nike came up with inspiring words and asked the world to stay indoors. “If you ever dreamed of playing for millions around the world, now is your chance. Play inside, play for the world,” Nike propagated.

The world right now is battling a great war and endeavoring to find its way out against the virus. As Nike says ‘You can’t stop sport,’ amidst the pandemic tennis world is coming up with safe exhibitions tours to keep players and fans engaged with some action.
