Lately, the game has been on the receiving end of hatred due to the developers’ lack of communication and new content.

Tfue has been prevalent with his outspokenness on issues surrounding Epic Games’ battle royale. Despite being one of the most famous content creators in Fortnite, he has never been shy about criticizing the game when required.

While live-streaming on April 16, the ex-FaZe Clan member explained why adjustments needed to be made to the in-game SMGs and ARs, especially at close range combat.

He believes, and rightfully so, SMGs should not have the upper hand against Shotguns in close proximity. Never in his illustrious career, he has played a battle royale where SMGs or ARs dominate against shotguns in close combat. “That’s not how f***ing games work,” he added.

Fortnite Needs To Evolve

He went on to suggest for the SMGs and the ARs receiving a nerf in the game.

Aside from his criticisms on ARs and SMGs, Tfue called in favor of vaulting mythic items in competitive Fortnite.

Midas’ drum gun and Brutus’ minigun are the mythic weapons.

Other competitive players have debated that those are far too influential and add a component of inconsistency that does not fit competitive Fortnite.

The response from Tfue’s audience reflects several Fortnite players agree with him. Whether Epic Games welcome Tfue’s judgment and deliver on his wishes remains to be seen.

The fact remains whether Epic Games will incorporate these issues or at least address them. Several streamers and content creators have raised valid points. Lack of communication is one of the primary concerns. Moreover, we can only hope that they will fix this soon enough.
