Much like with the players from any other sport, tennis players too are constantly looking to improve their game. Sometimes, they look towards other players to do this. Eugenie Bouchard is one player who does this and she has said that she would want a serve like Serena Williams’.

Serena Williams and Eugenie Bouchard have played against each other four times with Serena winning three of those matches. Their limited meetings were enough for Genie to appreciate the American’s serve. In a recent podcast, she said, “I would definitely pick Serena’s serve. It gets her out of trouble so many times, it’s possibly the best shot in tennis. It obviously has the power but also, the disguise to have placement. When I played against her, she tosses it up and you have no idea where that thing is going.”

Serena’s serve along with her other great shots has helped her become one of the most successful players of all time. With 23 Grand Slams under her belt, she is an Open Era record holder. However, she wants to equal the all-time record of 24 and her next opportunity to do is almost here.

The 2020 US Open will begin in a few days and with also begins Serena’s opportunity to equal the record for the most Grand Slams. However, her path to the title isn’t going to be easy There is a chance that she could face Maria Sakkari who beat her at the Western & Southern Open.
