The Last Of Us 2 was one of the biggest hits of the year. The PlayStation Exclusive managed to become a best-seller. But fans had divided opinions regarding the game. Many accused Naughty Dog of misrepresenting certain aspects of the game during the promotional campaign. The voice actors also received a lot of hate, so much so that the studio had to take legal action against certain parties. Still, the game is a masterpiece and Neil Druckmann truly outdid himself. A leaked video showed a few seconds of gameplay from a possible multiplayer mode coming to the game. The video has now been deleted as of a copyright claim by Sony and this may just confirm it. The video showed footage that looked like the ’Factions’ mode from The Last of Us part 1.

So does this mean that we’re getting a separate multiplayer game? The statement does say that it won’t be a part of The Last of Us 2.

Additionally, a recent announcement also revealed the list of PS4 accessories that will be compatible with the PS5. While the camera, headphones will work, the DualShock 4 will be compatible with PS5, just not with the next-gen games. This disappointed a lot of fans considering the Xbox Series X will be able to use the Xbox One controller. (And they also made it a point to rub it in Sony’s face).

There is still no news on the launch date or price for the upcoming PS5. Eric Lempel had said that the company will ‘let them know’ when they have more information regarding the same. For now, time to tune in to the ‘State Of Play’ event and see what Sony is up to.
