This year’s offseason has to go down as one of the weirdest ones of all time. Additionally, almost 187,000 US citizens have also lost their lives to this fast-spreading virus. Global economies have been hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The NFL ain’t playing. They’re going to go about their business and it’s going to take government intervention to stop them. They’re not thinking about it. Matter of fact, some of them are even thinking about having fans…I said it before, I’m saying it again. Them owners don’t give a damn. They’re going to have it this season, you can book it,” Smith said on the show.

Co-host Marcus Spears also echoed the same sentiment later on the show. It does seem like Smith’s prediction will more or less stay true over the course of the season. The 2020 NFL season kicks off on September 11, 2020. Defending champions Kansas City Chiefs go up against Houston Texans on opening day.
