The upcoming action RPG from the house of Giant Squid, The Pathless, grabbed eyeballs during its reveal last year for PS4. However, this game will release right with the launch of the next-gen console from Sony. The Pathless will release along with the PlayStation 5, making it one of the first titles to test out the next-gen gaming the console promises.

Although The Pathless will release on the 12th of November, along with PlayStation 5, it will not be a PlayStation exclusive. The game will be available on iOS, PC, and PlayStation 4 as well. Matt Nava, the Creative Director at Giant Squid, says,

“I’m excited to announce that you will be able to play The Pathless on your new PlayStation 5 the minute you get your hands on it. That’s right, The Pathless will be available on November 12 as a PlayStation 5 launch title! You’ll be able to enjoy the game’s gorgeous open world and fast, fluid movement in 60 fps on PS5 while also feeling the force of every arrow shot with the DualSense controller’s haptic trigger effects.”

The Pathless adds to the exciting PlayStation 5 roster

The state-of-the-art hardware of the PlayStation 5 will provide players with an immersive gaming experience, along with no loading screens and high frame rates even at high resolutions. These factors will play in favor of this upcoming title from Giant Squid.

The game follows the story of Hunter, a highly skilled archer who aims to free the world of the suffocating darkness.
