Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. The rivalry between these two larger than life superstars is the most notorious one in the history of UFC. It started with Conor throwing a dolly at a bus filled with UFC fighters to get Khabib’s attention, and it ended with Khabib submitting Conor McGregor.

However, in a recent interview with ESPN, McGregor said that the rivalry is never over with Nurmagomedov. Well, atleast Conor and Khabib agree on something.

In an interview with ESPN’s Bret Okamoto, UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov declared that the beef with Conor is far from over. Khabib even said that he would fight Conor anywhere he sees him.

“Even this fight is finished not everything is finished. Just smashing only him is not enough, we need to smash his team. Before going to the fight I said to my team, tonight we are going to war. It’ll never be finished. even if we see each other somewhere we are going to fight. Doesn’t matter if someone goes to jail.”

Well, it’s hard to blame Khabib, when Conor was the one who started all this with the bus incident. Then, Conor went too far during the fight promotion, insulting Khabib’s family and culture.” He (Conor) began all this. UFC tried to promote this.” says Khabib.

Looking back at his fight against McGregor, Khabib admitted that he wanted to dominate Conor in his fight even in striking. He wanted to erase any further argument that Conor could beat him in a fight or call his victory over Conor a fluke.

The Russian continued, “I feel i do everything I want. I said I’m gonna go forward, make him tired and make him tap. And I did that. I am little bit happy that I came out in second round. Because people were gonna think I was lucky or maybe if he fights me again it’ll be different. But I made him tap. We all saw what he can do and what I can do”
