Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones took to Twitter and slammed UFC in a series of tweets after feeling disrespected by fans who mocked him and also Dana White.
Jones tweeted, “show me the money“, shortly after Francis Ngannou had knocked out Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title. White had previously announced that Jones will face the winner of this fight, and it was almost a done deal.

Jon Jones desires to remain faithful to UFC
Jones has been setting his eyes on a potential title shot ever since announcing his move to the heavyweight division. However, he also wants the right price to step up against the hardest hitter ever to step into the octagon, Francis Ngannou.
Jones hinted at a possible exit from the UFC when he wrote, “I am going to try to remain faithful. There’s still time for UFC to do the right thing.”.
It’s not great for either party, as Jones is one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.
I am going to try to remain faithful. There’s still time for the UFC to do the right thing. I am supposed to be seeing a fight proposal next week. Fingers are crossed, this is an opportunity of a lifetime for everyone involved.

Dana White takes a subtle aim at Jones
White did not hold back either and took a jab at Jones by suggesting he move to the 185-pound division to challenge Israel Adesanya instead of facing Ngannou as that would be an easier option. This, however, didn’t sit well with Jones and as expected he showed his frustration.
Besides that, White also hinted at a possible rematch of Ngannou and Derrick Lewis going further, which clearly adds more salt to Jones’ wound.
Jones, however, in his tweet, revealed that he will receive a fight offer later this week, which will clear the doubts of many fans as to who Ngannou will face next.

Testing times lie ahead for Jones as this back-and-forth jabbing saga on social media doesn’t seem like it will end soon. Regardless of anything that happens, fans dearly want to see Ngannou and Jones battle each other soon as possible. This is a fight that nobody wants to just let go of.
