Recently, Australian tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis won the ATP 250 event in Adelaide and it was his first title on the ATP Tour. He has been one player who has dealt with injuries for a considerable amount of time.

Novak Djokovic finds time to message during visa fiasco

To see him winning a title after all the struggles is surely a proud feeling. On Thanasi winning the title, Djokovic took notice of it and sent him a message in a private chat on Instagram.

Personally, he has been dealing with a lot of things with his visa being canceled. At the moment, Novak is set to leave Melbourne and has yet not decided when he will be back on the Tour.

Yesterday, when Kokkinakis won the title, he received a similar message from none other than Roger Federer. To receive compliments from great players like Roger and Novak is surely going to add to Thanasi’s confidence.

Next up for Kokkinakis is the Australian Open 2022, which begins on Monday. There isn’t a better way to enter a Grand Slam event than winning a tournament prior to it.
