New York Giants had one nightmare of a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night at the Raymond James Stadium. The Giants offense was crippled against the Tampa Bay defense as they were unable to score a single point in the second half of the game.

However, this was not the only game when the Giants’ side seemed helpless. The 3-7 New York has suffered from similar consequences throughout the 2021 season so far. Their inefficient play was so visible that even former NFL QB, turned analyst, couldn’t help but point out the loopholes in their play.

Don Orlovsky scrutinizing offensive play by New York Giants

Don Orlovsky, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB, took to Twitter to point out the disastrous offensive play by the New York Giants. In his replay he showed how three Giants players grouped together at the center, giving the quarterback no options to throw at.

What is this?” he said, pointing out the flaw in their offense. “Where do you want him to throw football? Three dudes are right here. This is a disaster New York Giants. You practice this play?”

Monday was definitely one of the worst plays made by the Giants this season, as this was the first time in 2021 they failed to pick up points at the second half of the game. Considering the fact that the two sides leveled up 10-10 in the second quarter. The Giants most certainly had a disaster of a game thereafter.

Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett fired from Giants

However, it was not just Orlovsky who critically analyzed the offensive failures of the Giants. The Giants themselves knew that their play was far from being satisfactory. Incidentally, the news broke out that the New York Giants have fired their offensive coordinator, Jason Garrett.

It is now time for the Giants to make significant changes to their team. They stand at the bottom of the NFC East. And for them to make the playoffs, they should certainly give their best now and just hope for the best to happen. And as they look forward to their next week’s matchup with the Eagles, they surely have to make better and well-poised plays to make a difference.
