THROWBACK: Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz Share a Hilarious Moment

As we know it Conor McGregor will never let an opportunity to throw a sly comment, or rather a not so sly comment slip. Here we speak of one such interview he did with CNBC before his fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 196.

Nate Diaz too was present at this interview and it looked as though Conor derived more please doing it to his face.

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 1 went down at UFC 196 at the MGM Grand on March 6th, 2016. This was a while ago but McGregor’s approach of ‘mental warfare’ against Nate Diaz still remains fresh in our memory.

During this infamous interview the interviewer along with the two fighters sat down to discuss money and how much would each of the fighters walk away with post their duel at UFC 196.

Though they both didn’t reveal any exact figures, it was quite clear that Conor McGregor would be taking the heftier side of the money bag and whatever Nate would receive too was all because he managed to score a fight against Conor.

Conor McGregor mocks Nate Diaz

During the interview, McGregor repeatedly poked fun at Diaz and made his money-filled pockets eminent. He stirred the conversation in a direction in which Diaz came out looking as poorer of the two.

This was just one more attempt by McGregor to assert his dominance and put his opponent down.

One line that Conor dropped during the interview was, “The main thing to succeed in this game is to either be me or fight me. Everything else is peanuts.”

Conor also stated that he was sailing towards his dream mark of being worth $100 million.
