The BOC has threatened to take action CBF after some controversial decisions at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The Brazilian national football team won the gold medals at the Olympics. However, they ditched the Brazilian Olympics uniforms during the award ceremony and the celebrations.
This caused discontent to the BOC. They are looking to take action against the CBF for the aforementioned action. An issue from BOC has been released recently to let CBF know of their intentions.

“The Olympic Committee of Brazil repudiates the attitude of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and the players of the football team during the awards ceremony for the men’s tournament,” said BOC’s statement.

“At the moment, the committee’s energies are totally focused on maintaining the work that resulted in the best Brazilian participation in the history of the Olympics,” it said further.
“For this reason, only after the end of the Games will the COB make public the measures that will be taken to preserve the rights of the Olympic Movement, other athletes and our sponsors,” the statement concluded.

The Brazilian national team ensured their second consecutive Olympic gold after a triumphant outing at the Rio Olympics 2016 as well. They edged out Spain 2-1 in the finals.

The 5-time world champions added yet another glory to their rich history. Dani Alves, a veteran campaigner, led a team full of youngsters to Olympic glory. Fans will want the team to build on the momentum and achieve the same sort of success at the 2022 Qatar world Cup as well.
But the recent controversy will have to be addressed first by the CBF. BOC believes this is a breach of sportsmanship. What future build-up happens in this saga, remains to be seen.
